Greetings !
It's that time of the year again! Twice a year in the Spring and Fall SpaWeek is held
Where you can get a variety of services across the country for $50 ! Woo-Hoo !
So go to http://www.spaweek.com/?full=1
If you're in the NYC area there's one spa I plan to try .. Elizabeth Arden at the Garden City Hotel. The L.I.R.R. Stops at Garden City and the hotel is right across the street . I was recently at an event there and this is the most beautiful hotel I've been to! I said I wanted to do the spa - and I'm going !
Check out the full list for other spots ! Those not in NYC SpaWeek might be a different time but feel free to check out their website and see if anything catches your eye !
I'm grateful to the loyal few that follow me - and I'm back !
Ciao!

New Spa Review: Rehoboth Spa Manhattan NYC
Greerings!
I've fallen off updating my blog through no fault but my own.
Life gets in the way and I hadn't been to a spa in a minute . The review
Now is a bit after the fact .. I went to this spa at the end of December !
So let's get going .. If you don't know , I'm having eye surgery in a couple of days and in prepping
For surgery I've been to the retina specialist seems like almost every other week .
The last visit was long and a Sorority Sister of mine had mentioned a spa to me before that I
Wanted to checking out . Turns out Rehoboth has 2 locations .. Daily close to each other and this particular location was about 2 blocks fron the doctor's office and after a very long wait and leaving very late , I was tired but felt I needed a massage , I walked I t the place and asked were they closed .
To my surprise they were open ! So at 8:39om I had a great massage by Harry . I did have the medical form to fill out ( which is always my gold standard) and upstairs were manicurist still working on a few clients .
The location was at University Place between 14th and 15th Street . I had no wait ! They toile downs one rather scary stairs ( knee surgery so they were steep but doable ) to a rather small (read tight ) waiting area and into a massage room .
I saw no lockers , nor was I given slippers . Ok I'm a spa snob so this right here turned me off . I kept thinking maybe this is like an annex.. Since the other location is not too far away .
But as I say many posts ago - it's the massage that matters ... Much more than the bells and whistles .
I had a combo reflexology and Swedish 75 min . What was interesting is that the massage table contracted so they could do the reflexology on the same table . Something I also wasn't used to .
Harry spoke not so great English , but he ask how hard/soft I wanted the massage and what knee had the surgery . So that's a plus in my book .
Harry was fantastic ! Not the best massage I've ever had but certainly great ! The reflexology was ok.. I've had better .
All in all I'd hit the other location which is only several blocks away !
Check out the spot for yourselves!
